First off, let me apologise for my site’s downtime over the past few days. My webhosting provider of 2 years was acting up dramatically, causing my site to throw up a whole bunch of HTTP 500, 503 and MySQL errors. A week earlier, this site had been hit by a spate of slow traffic (high server loads), but the pain of webhost and site migration was enough to make me give Dreamhost a second chance. A separate ticket request (at priority 5) for a change in domain registrar clocked in at about 4 minutes. To add icing on the cake, I couldn’t really find any bad reviews about them online.
