1st SG-Google Tech User Group Meeting

Singapore Google Technology User GroupThe cool folks over at Google Singapore and Socialwok have gotten together to organise the inaugural kickoff meeting for the Singapore Google Technology User Group (SG-GTUG).  SG-GTUG plans to hold monthly theme-based meet-ups to talk about all technologies related to Google.  The theme for the 1st meeting are Google Web Kit & Google AppEngine.  The group is also looking out for start-ups & speakers who want to present or talk about their GWT or AppEngine related applications.  Parties interested to speak may apply by writing in to contact@sg-gtug.org.

2:10-2:40pm – Talk 1: Intro on GWT & Google APIs
2:40-3:10pm – Talk 2: Intro on Google AppEngine (Python & Java)
3:10-3:45pm – Cool Apps Demo for AppEngine + GWT – 4 demos from local SG tech community, 7 mins each
3:45-4:15pm -  Talk 3: GWT & Google AppEngine
4:15-4:30pm – SG-GTUG matters, prize giving, Q&A
4:30pm onwards – Refreshment & mingle
