On Thursday, I’ll be heading to the American continent on a month-long road trip with my fiancée. Much of it will be personal in nature, although I’ll be meeting with some business contacts in San Francisco and New York. I am eagerly looking forward to it, not just because it’s been 4 years since my last ‘proper’ trip (to Peru), but because I’ll also be realizing 2 wishes in a single trip – to drive across the US, and to visit Cuba.
Apart from making the long drive from west to east USA, we’ll also be renting a car in Cuba and zipping around. I’ve been cramming my Spanish, and hope to do better than my last feeble attempt in Peru. Desearme suerte!
Here’s how our trip itinerary looks like. I’ll be writing blog entries along the way and putting up my photos, so stay tuned!
