Techcrunch.TV Ask-a-VC SEA edition

I just touched down and checked into the hotel at Manila, Philippines, and spotted Sarah Lacy’s post on my recent interview with her on Techcrunch.

It’s a rather strange and humbling experience watching myself on my first formal interview. Apart from that slight hiccup when an old man came up to us to sell tissue paper, I think I did okay. I was rather surprised to be invited by Sarah to be on the show, and given the list of luminaries that have gone on the show before me, I would be lying if I said I didn’t have at least some butterflies churning together with the Chilli Crab in my stomach.

I think I could have answered the e-commerce question better. I forgot about travel (tickets, resorts, hotels, e.t.c.), which is already a well-oiled engine in Asia. I was thinking a little too generically.

I’d love any constructive feedback, other than comments on my obviously dorky look heh. Maybe it’s time for a new pair of spectacles. Hmmm.

Thanks Sarah, for having me on the show.
