Welcome to motochan.com, my humble abode on the Social Web.

The moniker motochan was given to me by my best friend and housemate Marcus, for being a “Master Of The Obvious” while watching “The Butterfly Effect” sometime in 2004, during my 3 good (but cold) years at Carnegie Mellon. Since my surname was Chan, Marcus put 1 and 1 together to give birth to my nickname, that has stuck ever since.

I may be a Computer Engineer by training, but a lot of my coding DNA has been left far behind ever since graduation. What you see here is my best efforts at hacking something decent together, to serve as a repository of my thoughts and life.

I won’t claim this site to be XHTML compliant or what-have-you. Let’s just cross our fingers and hope nothing breaks as I continue to tinker in the months and years ahead!
